We are a growing mental health private practice based in Glen Carbon, Illinois that offers its employees incredibly competitive fee-splits, some benefits, and the flexibility to work remotely with appropriate clientele.

*At this time, much of our work is done remotely. However, we are unsure of what telemedicine options will remain following the current pandemic. This will largely be determined by your ability to work independently and approval from managed care companies.

The Company: Southern Illinois Institute of Behavioral Health is a growing mental health practice with an abundance of referrals. We are known in the community for the great care we take with clients and employees alike.

We provide monthly “grand rounds” to review cases, occasional happy hours, holiday luncheons, and staff activities to promote happiness at work. The Position : We are looking for a full-time Clinical Child Psychologist. This position has the potential to pay approximately $75,000 to $95,000 after achieving a full caseload dependent upon a variety of factors including insurance reimbursement and types of services offered.

  • We offer an extremely competitive fee-split arrangement, paid accidental disability insurance, flexible scheduling, and the ability to work from your home office when appropriate.
  • We believe in providing you with everything that you would need to accurately do your job. This includes test kits, supplies, telehealth platforms, electronic record databases, etc. You will not be responsible for most tasks related to billing, collections, insurance, marketing, etc.
  • We presently have a list of new cases ready for the right candidate to begin!

Requirements:

  • Licensed, doctoral level (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) Psychologist in the State of Illinois
  • License must be current, allow for full independent practice, and be unrestricted. There should be no malpractice claims filed against your license.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple demands
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Clinical experience with child and adolescent assessment
  • Proficiency in behavioral and cognitive behavioral therapy, parent management training, and social skills training
  • Two years of post-licensure experience
  • Provide evening and/or weekend availability for ongoing therapy clients

Responsibilities:

  • Outpatient psychotherapy
  • Psychological and Neuropsychological assessments of children and adolescents
  • Up-to-date and accurate record keeping, meeting Medicare guidelines

The Position : We are looking for a part-time Clinical Therapist. This position has the potential to pay approximately $28,000 to $40,000 after achieving a part-time caseload dependent upon a variety of factors including insurance reimbursement and types of services offered. There may also be the option to moving toward a full-time position in the future.

  • We believe in providing you with everything that you would need to accurately do your job. This includes supplies, telehealth platforms, electronic record databases, etc. You will also not be responsible for most tasks related to billing, collections, insurance, marketing, etc.
  • We presently have a list of new cases ready for the right candidate to begin!

Requirements:

  • Licensed, Masters level Therapist (LCPC) in the State of Illinois
  • License must be current, allow for full independent practice, and be unrestricted. There should be no malpractice claims filed against your license.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple demands
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Clinical experience with children through adults
  • Proficiency in behavioral and cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and other directive forms of therapy
  • Two years of post-licensure experience
  • Provide evening and/or weekend availability for ongoing therapy clients

Responsibilities:

  • Outpatient psychotherapy with individuals, couples, and families
  • Up-to-date and accurate record keeping, meeting Medicare guidelines
